Edition 2025 — Maccheroni a Fezze
2025 Edition
The 22nd edition of the Maccheroni a Fezze Festival was held in Montenero Sabino on July 26 and 27, 2025, with stalls opening from 6:30 PM in Piazza del Municipio. On that occasion, the Pro Loco volunteers also kneaded about 300 kilos of flour by hand, following the ancient and unique local recipe.
Alongside the maccheroni, other traditional dishes and the anise ring cake of Montenero, the festival's signature dessert, were served. The program included show cooking with demonstrations of pasta preparation, a flea market, roving performances along the village streets, and visits to the Orsini Castle.
On the musical front, Saturday featured the Trashanta band, followed by a DJ set by Moreno Checchetelli, while on Sunday, the Vasco Rossi tribute band Siamo Solo Noi took the stage, with the party continuing until late at night.
