Maccherone Festival

The 46th Maccherone Festival in Sassofortino (Municipality of Roccastrada, province of Grosseto) was held from August 9-11 and August 14-17, 2025, at Parco Fonte di Vandro.

Food stalls opened every evening from 7:30 PM, with lunch service also available on Ferragosto. The menu, curated by Pro Loco Sasso&Forte, featured handmade maccheroni, Maremma tortelli, wild boar stew, tripe, beans in tomato sauce, and homemade desserts, following the simple and genuine recipes of Maremma cuisine.

Every evening, starting around 9:30 PM, the park hosted live music, dance nights, and free-entry shows, confirming the success of one of the most beloved festivals in the Grosseto Maremma.
