Edition 2025 — Maccaruni Festival

The 2025 edition of the Maccaruni "'ncima ai funtanil" Festival celebrated the event's tenth anniversary in Alatri. From August 9 to 11, in Piazza Regina Margherita, the Ragazzi del Fontanile hosted three evenings of Ciociaria gastronomy and live music, with stalls opening at 6:30 PM and Ciociaria-style maccaruni as the stars of the festival.

Maccaruni Festival 2025: The Tenth Anniversary

The Maccaruni "'ncima ai funtanil" Festival celebrated its ten-year history in 2025, confirming its status as one of the most beloved summer events in Alatri, in the province of Frosinone. The event took place from Saturday, August 9 to Monday, August 11 in Piazza Regina Margherita, with food stalls open every evening from 6:30 PM.

The menu featured Ciociaria-style maccaruni, maltagliati with beans, sandwiches, fried foods, and other local specialties, prepared in collaboration with "A Piazza Regina: Fraschetta con Cucina". The three evenings were accompanied by music: DJ sets featuring hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and live performances, in a festive atmosphere that drew residents and visitors from across Ciociaria.

Programme

Saturday, August 9: Stalls open at 6:30 PM, 70s-80s-90s DJ set. Sunday, August 10: Stalls open at 6:30 PM, live music with the band 'Amici per Caso'. Monday, August 11: Stalls open at 6:30 PM, live performance by Giampy Russo. Dishes: Ciociaria-style maccaruni, maltagliati with beans, sandwiches, fried foods, and other specialties.
