Edition 2025 — Carrot Festival

The third edition of the Maccarese Carrot Festival took place on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Fregene Adventure Park, in the Municipality of Fiumicino. Two days of free admission dedicated to the flagship product of local agriculture, featuring tastings, carrot craft beer, educational workshops, falconry, children's shows, and live sunset concerts.

Third edition, May 24 and 25, 2025

The Maccarese Carrot Festival returned to the Fregene Adventure Park for two days of celebration dedicated to the vegetable that provides jobs for hundreds of people in the Fiumicino countryside.

Saturday, May 24, the day opened at 10:00 AM with the Carrot Hunt for children, followed by educational workshops; at 2:30 PM, the workshop dedicated to barn owls and birds of prey, followed by a show by Mago Pablo and a meeting on agricultural innovation. At 6:30 PM, the live concert by Banana Pancake closed the first day.

Sunday, May 25, after the inaugural blessing, the program continued with the I Know the Carrot workshop, a falconry demonstration, activities with farm animals, and pony rides; at 6:00 PM, the Battisti inCanto tribute by the group dAltroCanto took place.

Throughout the weekend, producer stalls, tastings of carrot-based dishes, dedicated craft beer, and an exhibition of agricultural machinery remained open. Free admission.
