Edition 2025 — Macàre e Macarìe
The debut of Macàre e Macarìe – Between History and Legend was held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, starting at 8:30 PM from Porta San Vito, in the historic center of Soleto (LE). The itinerant trail through alleys and squares brought to life the figures of Salento's popular tradition: the Macàre (wise women), the astrologer Matteo Tafuri, and the Sciacùddhri.
The evening alternated between live performances, storytelling moments, music, and themed banquets, with street food and themed "potions". The street artists were managed by the EpMusic agency of Andrea Poci. Visitors were given an illustrated map and special souvenir postcards. The event, free and designed for adults, families, and curious visitors of all ages, recorded an extraordinary turnout, laying the foundations for the following edition.
