Maazzeni Film Festival 2025 — 12th Edition

The twelfth edition of the Maazzeni Film Festival – Etna Vision was held on July 18 and 19, 2025, at the Giardini del Palmento Arena in Ragalna, under the artistic direction of Dario Marino and organized by the Maazzeni Association, chaired by Rosanna Tattaresu.

The First Prize was awarded to "C'è da comprare il latte" by Pierfrancesco Bigazzi, while the Special Jury Prize went to "Playing God" by Matteo Burani. The "History and Traditions of Sicily" award was conferred upon "Nino'" by Michele Li Volsi for its message against bullying. The evening also saw the presentation of the first "Municipality of Ragalna" Lifetime Achievement Award to actor Giovanni Calcagno, presented by Mayor Antonio Caruso.

Over the two evenings, about twenty titles were screened, and a retrospective screening was held with the staff of the 2000 film "Ti ricordi di Fox?".
