Edition 2025 — Stone Theatres Agrigento
The 2025 edition of the Lyric Festival of the Stone Theatres brought opera, symphonic music, and singer-songwriter music to Sicily's theatres and archaeological sites from July to September, with over forty events and more than 70,000 total attendees.
In Agrigento, the Teatro dell'Efebo in the Valley of the Temples hosted two highly acclaimed evenings: on August 5th, the tribute to Lucio Dalla with the voice of Pierdavide Carone, and on August 21st, the homage to Ennio Morricone, "Love Morricone - Strings & Voices", as part of the celebrations for the fifth anniversary of the composer's passing. The 2025 season also featured Aida and the first stage version in Sicily of Carmina Burana, directed by Salvo Dolce, in other Sicilian locations.
