Lusomovies in 2025: award-winning shorts at the Casa del Cinema
During 2025, the Lusomovies festival, a Portuguese-language short film event curated by the "Giulia Lanciani" Portuguese Language Centre at Roma Tre, brought a selection of winning short films from previous editions to Rome. The screenings were part of the Agenda Brasil program, an international Brazilian film festival hosted on November 10 and 11, 2025, at the Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese, in the city of Rome (Lazio).
The selection featured short works from Portugal, Cape Verde, Angola, and Brazil in their original version with Italian subtitles, confirming Lusomovies' role as a window into the cinematic production of the Lusophone world ahead of the 5th edition in March 2026 at the Teatro Palladium.
