Edition 2025 — Lunzon

In 2025, the Lunzon in Borgomanero was celebrated on Monday, March 3, the Monday before Shrove Tuesday. Eight local venues joined the initiative promoted by the municipal administration and the Department of Commerce, offering a fixed-price menu based on traditional Borgomanero dishes to bid farewell to Carnival before the start of Lent.

Lunzon 2025

The 2025 edition of Lunzon took place on Monday, March 3, in Borgomanero, in the province of Novara. For this edition as well, the Municipal Administration and the Department of Commerce involved the city's restaurateurs: eight venues offered a fixed-price menu built around signature local dishes such as tapulone and paniscia.

The evening renewed the ancient custom of the Monday before Shrove Tuesday, when people once gathered to dance and feast during the final moments of Carnival, awaiting the silence and meditation of Lent.
