2025 Polenta Festival in Lunghezza

The XII edition of the Lunghezza Polenta Festival was held on November 8 and 9, 2025, on Via delle Cerquete in the Roman district of Lunghezza. Organized by the Insieme per Lunghezza Association, the event offered classic polenta with tomato sauce and sausage, and polenta alla gricia, served in the traditional wooden 'scifa' bowl that visitors kept as a gift. There was no shortage of assorted sandwiches, french fries, roasted chestnuts, and wine-infused cookies prepared by the association's volunteers, all accompanied by bread and wine. The festival, open for lunch and dinner, confirmed its role as an autumn appointment dear to the community of Rome's eastern quadrant.
