Edition 2025 — LUMinARIA

The 2025 edition of LUMinARIA, titled "Mediterranean Parenthesis," took place in Locorotondo from July 4th to 6th. Three days of events including candlelit tours, DJ sets, aerial dance, and baroque fireworks, culminating on Sunday, July 6th, with Antonio Castrignanò's concert at the Arena Bellavista and a grand show of music, light, and pyrotechnics for the night of Saint Lucy.

The 2025 Festival of Lights illuminated Locorotondo from July 4th to 6th with the concept "Mediterranean Parenthesis," a journey through the lands bordering the sea that cradled ancient civilizations. Friday, July 4th, the "Lights Off" ceremony opened the festival with contemporary dance, aerial dance, and baroque fireworks; Saturday, July 5th, featured "Dancing in the Moonlight," with four DJ sets in different corners of the historic center. The main evening on Sunday, July 6th, starred Antonio Castrignanò, musician and composer of the Notte della Taranta, accompanied by the nine instrumentalists of the "Taranta Sounds – Babilonia" project at the Arena Bellavista, before the grand show of music, lights, dance, and baroque fireworks at 11:00 PM. Religious celebrations for Saint Lucy were also held, including morning mass, solemn evening mass, and a procession, along with a Kids Area featuring shows by the Hakuna Matata Circus in Piazza Aldo Moro. The event, organized by Euforica APS with the Puglia Region, was free to attend.
