Edition 2025 — Luminara of Pisa

In 2025, the Luminara of San Ranieri once again transformed Pisa on the eve of the patron saint's feast, June 16. The Lungarni lit up with over 100,000 candles on the traditional wooden frames, while the fireworks on the Arno provided the usual spectacular finale. The free event confirmed its role as a signature event of the Pisan June.

The 2025 Luminara

The 2025 edition of the Luminara of San Ranieri was held on June 16 along the Lungarni of Pisa, renewing a centuries-old tradition linked to the devotion for the patron saint. As every year, the over 100,000 candles arranged on the biancherie outlined the profiles of the palaces overlooking the Arno, creating the unmistakable atmosphere of the Pisan night.

The evening, organized by the Municipality of Pisa with the usual security measures and the closure of the historic center to traffic, concluded with fireworks launched from floating platforms on the river, confirming the Luminara as one of the most beloved events in Tuscany.
