Lughnasad Festival — The Gathering of the Tribes

In 2025, the Lughnasad Festival confirmed its journey into the Celtic-pagan world in Golasecca, in the province of Varese. The Sports Field transformed into a village of yesteryear, with Irish folk music, dances, historical re-enactments of Celtic warrior traditions, and characteristic strength contests.

There were also craft workshops, a themed market, and an Irish pub area with beers, cider, and mead. Organized by Imbolc Srl and Gens d'Ys, the festival reaffirmed the deep connection with the proto-Celtic roots of the territory, which finds the name of an entire Iron Age civilization right in Golasecca.
