Lughnasad Festival — L'incontro delle tribù

In 2025, the Lughnasad Festival confirmed its journey into the Celtic-pagan world in Golasecca, in the province of Varese. The Sports Field transformed into a village of yesteryear, with Irish folk music, dances, historical reenactments of Celtic warrior traditions, and characteristic strength competitions.

Craft workshops, a themed market, and an Irish pub area with beers, cider, and mead were also present. Organized by Imbolc Srl and Gens d'Ys, the festival reaffirmed the deep connection with the proto-Celtic roots of the territory, which finds its name in an entire Iron Age civilization right here in Golasecca.
