Ludicomix 2025: twenty years of pop passion

For its twentieth anniversary, Ludicomix proposed an extraordinary edition from May 31 to June 2, 2025, exceptionally extending to three days. The historic center of Empoli, from the Palazzo delle Esposizioni to Parco Mariambini and Piazza della Vittoria, transformed into a realm of fantasy with comics, games, cosplay, and pop culture.

Special guests included Katerina Ladon, illustrator of the new Dungeons & Dragons edition and author of the festival poster, featuring a personal exhibition; voice actress Rossa Caputo (Hazbin Hotel); and Cristina D'Avena, who headlined a free concert in Piazza della Vittoria. The Cosplay Contest crowned the best cosplayer of the year, while two days of study hosted round tables on topics such as ADHD, autism, physics, volcanology, artificial intelligence, and comics.
