Lucca Teatro Festival 2025 in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana

The 2025 edition of the Lucca Teatro Festival, titled "Che cosa sono le nuvole?" (What are clouds?), brought several free family shows to Castelnuovo di Garfagnana as part of a festival spread across the Piana di Lucca, the Mediavalle, and the Garfagnana, featuring 27 free-admission events.

In Castelnuovo, the events enlivened several locations in the town: on July 2nd, the show Ferdinando il toro, i fiori e il calabrone at the former skating rink under the Rocca Ariostesca; on July 10th, the contemporary circus Katastrofa Show in Piazza Umberto I; and on July 30th, the show Scordàti, featuring the adventures of three clowns, in Piazza Luigi Carli. All shows were free with recommended booking.
