Edition 2025 — Lòm a Merz Mordano

In 2025, the Lòm a Merz in Mordano was lit at the Centro Giovani Flood, at Via Roma 22, starting at 7:30 PM. The star was the famous polenta — with ragù or mushrooms — prepared by the Cà de Borg association, accompanied by mulled wine, karaoke, and plenty of entertainment. The lighting of the bonfire at 8:00 PM brought the community together around the fire, following the ancient Romagna propitiatory rite.

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of Lòm a Merz in Mordano was held at the Centro Giovani Flood, at Via Roma 22, opening at 7:30 PM. The signature dish of the evening was polenta, served with ragù or mushrooms and prepared by the Cà de Borg association, along with the traditional mulled wine.

There was also karaoke and entertainment, leading up to the most anticipated moment: the lighting of the bonfire at 8:00 PM. In 2025, the Mordano event was also part of the large Lòm a Mêrz festival, which from February 26 to March 3 lit propitiatory fires in numerous municipalities in the provinces of Bologna, Ravenna, and Forlì.
