Edition 2025 — Lòm a Mêrz Solarolo
The 2025 edition of Lòm a Mêrz, the 25th, was dedicated to the theme 'At school through the fields, praise to the farmers' children'. As every year between late February and early March, the propitiatory bonfires were lit in the farmyards, agriturismos, and farms of Romagna, including those in the Ravenna area.
The evenings combined the ancient ritual of fire—lit to welcome the end of winter and invoke a fertile year—with folk dances, storytelling, and the simple flavors of peasant culture. The review is promoted by the association Il Lavoro dei Contadini - Comunità Slow Food APS (The Work of the Peasants - Slow Food Community APS).
