Locomotive Jazz Festival 2025 - 20th Edition

The twentieth edition of the Locomotive Jazz Festival, under the artistic direction of Raffaele Casarano, took place in the summer of 2025 with the theme "From Sunset to Dawn," confirming its traveling formula through the villages and landscapes of Salento, in the province of Lecce.

The Tramonti Locomotive, starting July 1st, brought music to evocative corners of the territory - historic centers, archaeological areas, and places immersed in nature - touching municipalities such as Corigliano d'Otranto, Acaya, Melendugno, Leverano, Gagliano del Capo, Giurdignano, and Sogliano Cavour. Guest artists included Naomi Berrill, Mario Rosini, Giovanni Guidi, Alessandro D'Alessandro, Peppe Servillo with Cristiano Califano, Bungaro, and Marco Pacassoni.

The highlight was the Alba Locomotive on the night of August 21-22, 2025, on the beach of Marina di San Cataldo in Lecce, featuring guest Brunori Sas accompanied by a band of musicians from the Italian jazz scene. Part of the ticket proceeds was donated to the Pediatric Oncohematology department of the Vito Fazzi hospital in Lecce, confirming the festival's charitable spirit.
