Locomotive Jazz Festival 2025 in Sogliano Cavour
The twentieth edition of the Locomotive Jazz Festival, directed by Raffaele Casarano, chose Sogliano Cavour—the village in Grecìa Salentina where the festival was born in 2006—for its Grand Finale on Sunday, July 27, 2025.
From 7:00 PM, the historic center came alive with guided tours, tastings of local products in the alleys, and photographic exhibitions. At 9:30 PM, at Parco Falcone Borsellino, the Santa Cecilia Musical Band of Sogliano Cavour performed with numerous guests, including Mauro Durante of Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino and Raffaele Casarano himself. The evening concluded starting at 11:00 PM with a DJ set by Populous. As per tradition, admission was free, in a collective celebration that brought the festival back to its roots, in the heart of Puglia.
