Edition 2025 — Lo Novello Market

In 2025, Lo Novello Market once again animated the historic center of Saltara, a hamlet of Colli al Metauro (PU), with the re-enactment of the 15th-century market established by the edict of Novello Malatesta in 1449. Among historical stalls, costumed artisans, ancient crafts, and re-enactment groups, the village recreated the atmosphere of the 15th-century Marche in the heart of the Metauro valley.

The 2025 edition of Lo Novello Market confirmed the formula that characterizes this historical re-enactment in the historic center of Saltara, a hamlet of Colli al Metauro, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.

This year too, the village transformed into a 15th-century setting, with stalls of merchants and artisans in costume, demonstrations of ancient crafts, and historical encampments, centered around the identity symbol of the 1449 edict by Novello Malatesta, which granted the community its weekly market. The covered market of Saltara, a structure considered unique in the Marche region, once again served as the main backdrop for the event organized by the Associazione AnimaFemina with the Municipality of Colli al Metauro and the Pro Loco of Saltara.
