Lo Carlevà dla Val Soana

The 2025 Soana Valley carnival took place over the weekend of March 22 and 23, involving the municipalities of Ronco Canavese, Ingria, and Valprato Soana.

Saturday, March 22, at the multi-purpose hall in Ronco Canavese, the evening featured the carnival dinner followed by the masquerade ball. Sunday, March 23, after lunch featuring the traditional beans and pork rinds dish (also available for takeaway), the allegorical float parade began along the valley, with stops in the various villages and a final awards ceremony in Valprato Soana. The first prize went to the float dedicated to "the medieval world", which was generously sized and detailed, featuring numerous costumed participants.
