Edition 2025 — Lizzano Carnival

In 2025, the Lizzano Carnival renewed its masquerade tradition, confirming an established event in the calendar of the Taranto village. Colorful parades through the streets of the center, children and groups in costume, confetti, and music brought the town to life in an atmosphere of shared joy, open to the entire community.

The 2025 edition of the Lizzano Carnival once again brought the enthusiasm of the locals to the streets. Organized by the Municipality of Lizzano, the event enlivened the historic center with the traditional masquerade parade, featuring costumes, confetti, and streamers, involving both adults and children. As per tradition, the festival combined the spontaneity of a village Carnival with the desire to gather in the squares and streets of the Salento village, in the province of Taranto. A free event open to everyone, which served as a prelude to the fifth edition in 2026.
