Edition 2025 — Livorno Play Comics
The first edition of Livorno Play Comics was held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Fortezza Vecchia, from 10:00 AM to midnight with free admission. A day dedicated to comics, manga, anime, gaming, and cosplay, featuring stands, workshops, a cosplay competition, and evening concerts. Guests included illustrator Bigo (David Bigotti) and cosplayer Desy Perri, with the event closing with live performances of classic cartoon theme songs.
The first edition of Livorno Play Comics brought the Fortezza Vecchia in Livorno to life on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM until midnight, with free admission. A day entirely dedicated to the world of comics, cartoons, manga, and video games.
- 11:30 AM — Workshop with illustrator Astrid Lucchesi.
- 3:00 PM — Workshop with Rachele Bernardini ("Tartitarta").
- In the afternoon, the "Discovering Bigo" meeting with David Bigotti.
- 5:30 PM — Cosplay competition (registration from 4:00 PM), with guest of honor, cosplayer Desy Perri.
- 9:30 PM — Concert by the band Stereo Comics, covering 80s cartoon theme songs.
Stands featuring comics, action figures, gadgets, manga content, and video games completed the offering, laying the foundations for the success that led to the event doubling in size in 2026.
