Edition 2025 — Palio Marinaro

The 99th edition of the Palio Marinaro took place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in front of the Terrazza Mascagni, concluding a record-breaking rowing season for participation and visibility. The Venezia district triumphed in the ten-oared Palio, taking revenge on Borgo after the latter's successes in the Coppa Barontini and the Palio di Santa Giulia.

The 99th edition of the Palio Marinaro, held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, saw the eight Livorno districts compete on the classic 2,000-meter course with three buoy turns, in the waters in front of the Terrazza Mascagni. The day opened in the late afternoon with the women's gozzette and the women's ten-oared race, culminating in the evening with the main event.

In the ten-oared Palio, the Venezia district triumphed with a time of 10'03"82, ahead of Borgo (10'06"39) and Pontino. The victory confirmed Venezia as the most decorated district in the event and brought a beautiful close to a rowing season considered one of the best in recent years.
