Edition 2025 — Via Crucis of Scauri

The 2025 edition of the Living Via Crucis of Scauri took place on Friday, April 11, 2025, marking the resumption of the tradition after the break caused by the health emergency. About twenty performers from the APS Crescere Insieme association, after more than a month of rehearsals, brought the procession to life through the district starting at 5:00 PM, concluding with the final Golgotha scene set up in Piazza Grande.

The 2025 Living Via Crucis of Scauri was held on Friday, April 11, 2025, brought back by the San Gaetano Parish and the APS Crescere Insieme association after the interruption due to the pandemic. The performance marked the return of a consolidated tradition, reaching about its tenth edition: the last one before 2025 dated back to 2019.

The procession started around 5:00 PM, crossing the streets of the district, with the final scene set up in Piazza Grande. About twenty performers, after more than a month of rehearsals, interpreted the most touching episodes of the Gospel: Marco Ruggeri, president of the association, played the role of Pontius Pilate in all editions, while Giovanni Brignone interpreted Jesus for the eighth time, in a particularly intense and moving performance.
