Living Passion of Pofi 2025 — 103rd edition
In 2025, the Living Passion of Pofi returned to the stage on Friday, April 18, Good Friday, with an appointment at 9:00 PM in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, in the medieval historic center of the town in the province of Frosinone, Lazio.
The performance was divided into eight tableaux: the Temptations in the desert, the betrayal of Judas, the Capture, Jesus before Herod, the Flagellation, the hanging of Judas, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection. The theatrical part was followed by the pageant through the streets of the village, with over two hundred participants in costume.
In 2025 as well, the organizational machine of the Venerdì Santo Association mobilized around three hundred people, including actors, stagehands, costume makers, carpenters, electricians, and technicians: a choral effort that involves practically all the town's families in Pofi, from generation to generation.
