Edition 2025 — Living Paintings Montemassi

The twelfth edition of the Living Paintings of Montemassi was held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, with the theme "Beyond the canvas... portraits of yesterday, emotions of today, beauty renews itself...". Nineteen paintings by the great masters came to life in the streets of the village, a hamlet of the Municipality of Roccastrada (Grosseto), attracting about 1,500 visitors on a traveling route in the historic center.

The twelfth edition of the Living Paintings of Montemassi took place on Sunday, June 1, 2025, with the theme "Beyond the canvas... portraits of yesterday, emotions of today, beauty renews itself...". The village, a hamlet of the Municipality of Roccastrada (Grosseto), returned to being an open-air museum.

Nineteen paintings by famous artists were reproduced, including Botticelli, Giorgione, Leonardo da Vinci, Monet, Picasso, and Rota; the opening work was "The Birth of Venus" (Primavera) by Botticelli. The meeting point was set in Piazza della Madonna at 4:30 PM, with group departures. The event attracted about 1,500 visitors.
