Living Nativity of Pievefavera

The 2025 edition marked the rebirth of the Living Nativity of Pievefavera, which returned to the stage on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 3:00 PM, after a ten-year break due to the 2016 earthquake that struck the Macerata hinterland.

The event, organized by the young people of Pievefavera with the Pro Loco of Caldarola, the Pro Loco of Cessapalombo, and the Municipality of Caldarola, attracted over 1,600 visitors, a result that exceeded all expectations. Along the village alleys, scenes of the Annunciation, the ancient market, the Roman camp with Herod's temple, the inn, and the Nativity unfolded, animated by over a hundred figures and animals, amidst lights, music, and local products. The success led to the scheduling of a re-enactment on January 4, 2026.
