Edition 2025 — Living Nativity
In December 2025, Pescopennataro also presented its Living Nativity: the Nativity re-lived in the stone alleys of the historic centre, animated by local villagers, with the traditional 'tombolata', in an authentic Christmas atmosphere in the heart of Alto Molise.
The 2025 edition of the Living Nativity took place in Pescopennataro during the Christmas period. The streets of the historic centre of the stone village served as the backdrop for the Nativity scene, animated by local villagers, while the traditional 'tombolata' accompanied the festive moments. An event that renews the Christmas spirit of the Pescopennataro community each year, in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park.
