Living Nativity of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia

The 2024/2025 edition represented the true return of the Living Nativity of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia after years of absence. In the Villa Comunale on Corso Vincenzo Bellini, in the Municipality of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia (province of Catania), a large nativity trail was set up, animated by dozens of actors in period costumes.

Along the way, visitors were able to admire the workshops of ancient crafts—carpenters, shepherds, artisans, and villagers—and reach the Nativity Grotto, the heart of the representation. Tastings of local products accompanied the visit during the evenings of the Christmas period, confirming the success of an event capable of strengthening the community's bond with its roots and attracting visitors from the entire Etna region.
