Edition 2025 — Living Nativity of Cerreto
The Living Nativity of Cerreto di Spoleto for the 2025-2026 holidays was held on the three days of December 26, 2025, January 1, and January 6, 2026. The medieval village transformed into a large living nativity scene, with the evocative itinerary winding from Piazza Pontano through the alleys to the ruins of the church of San Nicola, where the Nativity scene was set up.
Along the route, workshops of ancient crafts came to life, and costumed figures offered visitors cheese, sausages, roasted chestnuts, fritters, hot bread, sweets, and mulled wine, accompanied by the music of the bagpipers.
