Edition 2025 — Living Nativity of Castanea

The 33rd edition of the Living Nativity of Castanea delle Furie, titled "Christmas with Joy in Castanea," took place from December 25, 2024, to January 6, 2025, in the park of Villa Arrigo, Messina. With over 350 actors, the event re-proposed scenes of ancient Bethlehem with free admission.

The 33rd edition of the Living Nativity of Castanea delle Furie, part of the "Christmas with Joy in Castanea" program, took place from December 25, 2024, to January 6, 2025, in the park of Villa Arrigo, in the San Rizzo hills of Messina.

Opening times followed a precise schedule: December 25, 27, 30 and January 2, 3 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM; December 26, 28, 29 and January 1, 4, 5, 6 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Over 350 actors from the Giovanna d'Arco Association animated artisan workshops, ancient trades, and the Nativity hut, confirming the event as one of the most beloved of the Messina Christmas season.
