Edition 2025 — Egna Living Nativity
In December 2025, the Heimatbühne Neumarkt staged the traditional Living Nativity (Lebende Krippe) in the Meister Konrad Passage, under the medieval arcades of Egna/Neumarkt (BZ). The performances took place on December 8, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
As is customary, the Nativity scene was brought to life by costumed actors and live animals—an ox, a donkey, and sheep—with artisans recreating ancient crafts and the characteristic blacksmith's forge. The event was part of the Christmas market program under the arcades, attracting families and visitors in an intimate and evocative atmosphere. Admission was free.
