Edition 2025 — Cosentini Living Nativity

Also in the 2024-2025 edition, the Parco Oasi Cosentini in Santa Venerina hosted its traditional Living Nativity during the Christmas season. Along the stone paths of the forest, costumed performers re-enacted the ancient crafts of rural Sicily, creating an evocative route that concluded with the Holy Family's manger.

2024-2025 Edition

The Living Nativity at Parco Oasi Cosentini returned during the 2024-2025 Christmas season, confirming itself as one of the most beloved events in the Catania area. In the evocative setting of the ancient Bosco delle Aci, visitors walked the park's trails amidst scenes of ancient crafts: farmers, washerwomen, blacksmiths, shepherds, and the innkeeper with his ricotta.

The route, animated by the music of the bagpiper and enriched by typical tastings of fritters, chickpeas, chestnuts, and wine, concluded with the Nativity manger. The organization was handled by the I Due Pini - Maria SS. del Rosario Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Santa Venerina.
