Literaturtage Lana 2025 — the 40th edition

From August 28 to 30, 2025, the Ansitz Schallerhof in Vill, Lana (Bolzano), hosted the fortieth edition of the Literaturtage Lana. The theme "Ein Gastmahl" (A Banquet) celebrated the anniversary by highlighting the convivial dimension of literary dialogue, from the Platonic symposium to the shared poetic word.

The days were opened by actress Angela Winkler with a reading from Homer's Iliad. The program brought together poets and scholars from various European countries — including Belarus, Romania, and Slovenia — with names such as Aleš Šteger, Anja Zag Golob, Aris Fioretos, Miruna Vlada, and Ernest Wichner. On the occasion of the anniversary, the almanac Halb Wiese halb Wissen. Das Gedächtnis im Wort, edited by Elmar Locher and Christine Vescoli (Wallstein Verlag, 2025), was presented.
