Lighthouse of Freedom Festival

The 2025 edition commemorated the 58th anniversary of the Lighthouse of Freedom, inaugurated in 1967 in memory of the approximately 600 partisans who fell in the Pinerolo valleys. The program opened on Friday, June 13, with the play Siamo sempre sotto processo by the Gruppo Teatro Angrogna, held at the Waldensian Church theater hall. On Saturday, June 14, the booklet La primavera delle nostre valli… racconti di Resistenza was presented with Professor Clara Bounous and speeches by the mayors of Angrogna, Prarostino, and San Germano Chisone, alongside a historical-photographic presentation by Davide Rosso; the exhibition Le origini del Faro was set up in the council chamber. On Sunday, June 15, at 10:00 AM, the commemorative procession took place from the Piazza della Libertà to the San Bartolomeo monuments, featuring speeches by the mayors, magistrate Piercarlo Pazè, and representatives from Emergency and the Fondazione Circolo Rosselli.
