Edition 2025 โ€” Life on Mars

From October 15th to 17th, 2025, Life on Mars brought three free days of co-creation on the future of cultural cooperation to the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica. An immersive experience promoted by Liv.in.g and Rome Capital, featuring dialogues with international experts, mentoring, sustainable mobility, and reflections on artificial intelligence in the performing arts.

The 2025 edition of Life on Mars took place from October 15th to 17th, 2025, at the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica, Rome, following the free and immersive format that characterizes Liv.in.g's events. Three days of dialogues, mentoring sessions, and practical tools were provided to strengthen the project management skills of cultural professionals. The first day was dedicated to cultural mobility as a critical and solidarity-based practice, featuring a speech by Martina Pignatti Morano (Un Ponte Per) and the presentation of tools for sustainable mobility; the second day focused on new tools for cultural organizations, including artificial intelligence and performing arts; the third day addressed the future challenges of international cooperation. Promoted by Rome Capital as part of the Roma Creativa 365 call, in collaboration with Zรจtema Progetto Cultura, On the Move, C.Re.S.Co., Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Scomodo, and Valdrada, the event brought together professionals from Ireland, Spain, Croatia, and Italy.
