Edition 2025 — Licata Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Licata Carnival took place from February 28 to March 4, 2025, with five days of festivities in the center of Licata. Papier-mâché floats themed around Super Mario Bros, Pirates, Coco, and Ancient Rome paraded along Corso Garibaldi, Piazza Duomo, and Piazza Progresso, amidst masked dances, children's entertainment, and evening DJ sets. The grand finale on March 4 featured a concert by DJ Giorgio Prezioso in Piazza Progresso.

Licata Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Licata Carnival was held from February 28 to March 4, enlivening the center of Licata for five days. The festival began on Friday, February 28, with a masquerade ball in Piazza Sant'Angelo, continuing with afternoon and evening parades of allegorical floats from Corso Garibaldi, Piazza Duomo, and Corso Re Capriata, and nightly parties with DJ sets in Piazza Progresso.

The papier-mâché allegorical floats, created by local artisans, featured themes such as Super Mario Bros, Pirates, Coco, and Ancient Rome. Between children's entertainment, dance evenings, and dance school performances, the most anticipated moment was the grand finale on March 4, with the final parade and the concert by DJ Giorgio Prezioso at midnight in Piazza Progresso.
