The 2025 Li Tri Re Festival
On January 6, 2025, Canicattì celebrated the Li Tri Re Festival, described by local news as "a tradition renewed since 1870" and organized by the Li Tri Re Association. The historical pageant departed from the Villa Comunale, with the participation of the flag-bearers of "La Conca d'oro" from Mazzarino.
The route included a stop at the church of San Diego, the meeting with Herod — played by Filippo Curto — in Piazza IV Novembre, and the arrival at the church of Santo Spirito in the Borgalino district, described by the press as a moment "not only historical but filled with emotion".
