Li Ruell di lu Paese

The 2025 edition of Li Ruell di lu Paese took place in the heart of Scerni (Chieti province, Abruzzo) as a central event of the Scerni Summer. For two evenings, the historic center welcomed thousands of people along the trail through the ruelle, the characteristic narrow lanes of the village.

As per tradition, the stalls set up by families and associations offered specialties of the Vastese rural cuisine - from ventricina to rabbit and lamb stews, to traditional desserts and cooked wine - while folk music groups enlivened the squares and courtyards. The event confirmed its dedication to slow tourism and the promotion of the Abruzzese village identity.
