Edition 2025 — Spring Bonfires
In 2025, the Lezzeno Spring Bonfires renewed the ancient ritual of fires on the shores of Lake Como. On the evening of March 18th, the hamlets lit their bonfires, followed by the feast of San Giuseppe, the fair, and the arrival of spring, in a popular calendar unchanged for centuries.
The 2025 edition of the Lezzeno Spring Bonfires revived the centuries-old tradition of propitiatory fires on Lake Como. The hamlets of the Municipality of Lezzeno lit their bonfires along the beaches on the evening of March 18th, initiating the four days of celebration between San Giuseppe, the fair, and spring. An authentic and participatory ritual that annually greets the end of winter in the lake communities.
