Letture Amene Festival

The fifth edition of the Letture Amene Festival was held on May 17 and 18, 2025, in the villages of Ameno and Miasino, on Lake Orta, with the theme «Questions»: an invitation to recover the value of curiosity and asking questions in a time when answers are often immediate but superficial. The event, promoted by the DragoLago Association with the support of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione Comunità Novarese, confirmed its nature as a widespread festival dedicated to childhood and picture books.

Saturday in Ameno, at Palazzo Tornielli, hosted the meeting «Towards the educational community», the presentation of the Super Reader Award, book-making workshops, storytime sessions, round tables on childhood, and a theatre show by APS Zazzi. On Sunday in Miasino, at Villa Nigra, the exhibition «Emotional Mapping» was staged, along with guided tours of the Ecomuseum, artistic and theatrical workshops, and the final show «The Fairy Tale Puppet Theatre» by Maurizio Mora.
