Lettere Wine & Jazz

The 7th edition of Lettere Wine and Jazz was held from October 3 to 5, 2025, at the Medieval Castle of Lettere, in the province of Naples, organized by the local Pro Loco with the municipal administration and the Centro Studi Mousikè association, with the patronage of the Campania Region and the Metropolitan City of Naples.

For three days, the Monti Lattari manor hosted tastings of sparkling DOC Penisola Sorrentina Lettere subzone wine, stalls of typical products, show cooking dedicated to local fiordilatte, guided tours of the castle, the village of San Nicola, churches, and vineyards, as well as the traditional grape stomping. The soundtrack was provided by jazz, with evening concerts in the Odeon area, the performance of the Maccheroni Street Band on Saturday, and the highly anticipated sunrise concert on Sunday, October 5, at 6:30 AM, by the Soliti Sospetti.

Due to a weather alert, the Sunday lunch in the village was postponed to Sunday, October 12, when it took place in Borgo San Nicola along with guided tours of the Church of Santa Maria delle Vigne and the Church of San Lorenzo. Entrance to the event remained free for the entire duration of the festival.

Friday, October 3, 2025 — 5:30 PM guided tour of the Medieval Castle; 7:30 PM official opening ceremony; from 8:00 PM jazz music in the Odeon area by Centro Studi Mousikè; 9:00 PM Lettere grape stomping. Saturday, October 4 — 5:30 PM guided tour of the castle; 6:00 PM show cooking with local fiordilatte; 7:00 PM food and wine tastings in the Odeon area; 8:00 PM concert by the Maccheroni Street Band, a youth brass and percussion ensemble; in the evening, grape stomping. Sunday, October 5 — 6:30 AM sunrise concert in the castle courtyard by the Soliti Sospetti; 9:30 AM guided tours by reservation of the Grotte di San Benedetto, the Medieval Castle, and the Lettere vineyards; 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM show cooking with fiordilatte and traditional Lettere recipes; 5:30 PM guided tour of the castle; from 8:00 PM tastings, jazz concert, and grape stomping. Sunday, October 12 (make-up date due to weather alert) — guided tours of the Church of Santa Maria delle Vigne and the Church of San Lorenzo with historian Giuseppe Di Massa; from 1:00 PM Sunday lunch in Borgo San Nicola.
