Letterature 2025: «Returns»

The 24th edition of the Rome International Festival, promoted by Rome Capital and organized by Zètema Progetto Cultura, chose the theme «Returns», one of the most ancient and profound motifs in literature, interpreted both through the lens of current events — migration and exile — and the darker one of returns to nationalism. Curation was entrusted to Simona Cives.

Alongside the summer evenings at the Palatine Stadium, in the heart of the Colosseum Archaeological Park, the 2025 edition introduced a rich season of previews spread throughout the city starting March 25, in venues such as the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, the Casa del Jazz, and the Teatro Elsa Morante. As per tradition, admission to the evenings was free until capacity was reached.
