Edition 2025 — Leonforte City Award
2025 Edition (XLII)
In 2025, the Leonforte City National Award celebrated its forty-second edition, from August 11 to 23, in the village of Leonforte (Enna). The festival, organized by the Municipality of Leonforte, confirmed its national vocation, attracting over 60 theatre companies from all over Italy.
The theatre section
The finalist companies performed from August 17 to 21, 2025, evaluated by a technical jury of industry experts and a popular jury composed of the audience. The Leonforte City awards were presented for Best Show, Audience Choice, Best Director, and Best Actress. It was in 2025 that the special mention for folk theatre was introduced, which was subsequently reconfirmed in later editions.
