Leonessa Marathon Cup MTB 2025

On June 15, 2025, the Leonessa Marathon Cup MTB returned to animate the village of Leonessa, in the Lazio region, as a stage of the Pedalatium Off Road circuit. The edition offered three distances designed to welcome bikers of all levels: the Marathon of about 60 kilometers with 1,800 meters of elevation gain, the intermediate 42-kilometer route with about 1,250 meters of elevation gain, and the cycle-touring route of 27 kilometers, which was more accessible and suitable for those who simply wanted to enjoy the plateau.

As per tradition, the race village and the starting area were set up in the historic center, with the village opening in the early hours of the morning and the competitive events starting in the morning. The tracks, almost entirely on dirt roads, crossed the woods and pastures of the Valle Leonessana at the foot of the Reatini Mountains, offering participants high-mountain views just a short distance from Rome.

The success of the event encouraged the organization to take a further step up in quality the following year, when the event hosted the assignment of the ACSI national marathon title.
