On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 9:00 PM, the celebrated baritone Leo Nucci returned to sing in the new Municipal Theatre of Castiglione dei Pepoli (BO), the Apennine village in the Bologna province where he was born. On stage, alongside him, were soprano Elisa Maffi, pianist Paolo Marcarini, and cellist Marco Righi, for an evening dedicated to great opera.

The concert represented a special moment for the community and confirmed the artist's strong bond with his native region: a return that paved the way, the following year, for the first international opera singing masterclass hosted by the theatre itself.
