Lemon Festival

The 2025 edition confirmed the tradition of the Lemon Festival in Monterosso al Mare, held over a weekend in May. The village's symbolic citrus fruit was the protagonist, celebrated with the gastronomic walk "8000 passi al profumo di limone" (8000 steps with the scent of lemon) through the narrow streets and panoramic terraces.

In Piazza Garibaldi, stands from local producers offered lemon sweets and specialties, while contests for the best cake, largest lemon, and most beautiful shop window engaged residents and visitors, accompanied by traditional Ligurian music. A festival that has promoted an agricultural excellence of the Cinque Terre since 1967.

The festival took place over two days with the gastronomic walk "8000 passi al profumo di limone", producer stands in Piazza Garibaldi, lemon-themed contests, and musical entertainment in the alleys.
