Legnano in Musica

Two Series, One Season of Music

Legnano in Musica is the musical project promoted by the Municipality of Legnano (Province of Milan) which brings together, from February to June, two distinct but complementary programmes. An initiative designed to bring live music - both classical and popular - to the most beautiful places in this city in the Alto Milanese region.

Afternoon Concerts

Now in its fourth season, the Afternoon Concerts are dedicated to young talents, particularly the winners of the Sioli Prize. The programme features a mix of opera arias, piano recitals, and contemporary chamber ensembles, offering a high-level showcase for emerging performers.

Music Outside the Centre

The new feature is the Music Outside the Centre series, which moves beyond traditional venues to reach the neighbourhoods and hamlets of Legnano. The music ranges from blues to jazz to world music (with unexpected excursions like Chinese guzheng). Each concert is often preceded by an introductory talk, led by scholars and musicians such as philosopher Carlo Serra and guitarist Enrico Merlin, to enhance the listening experience.

All events are free admission until capacity is reached, confirming the festival's aim to spread musical culture among all citizens of Legnano.
